In order to ensure that the work of the various borough services is in keeping with the seven community priorities, Community Priority Sub-Groups have been established, which focus on a particular priority. The work of the groups includes breaking the priority down into key issues, and long-term action planning to ensure that the issues are addressed. The needs of children and young people are addressed as part of the work of the group, and subsequently, working towards certain community priorities (e.g. developing rights and responsibilities with the local community) has direct impact on citizenship education. |
